Glinda & Elpheba are reluctant roommates who bond at Shiz University and consequently create a lasting friendship that transcends boundaries forced upon them by the Wizard of Oz.

Elpheba is born green to the Governor of Munchkinland and his wife. Rumoured not to be his child at all, she grows up ostracised and left to care for her sister Nessa Rose.

Her powers are developed over her time at Shiz University and her magical abilities far surpass that of her classmates, bringing her to the attention of The Wizard.
